About Douzi

豆子 (Douzi) is Chinese for bean, which is also, coincidentally, what we sell: beans, from China. We're the first brand in America built entirely around that idea. Douzi is a single-origin coffee brand rooted in Yunnan, China: high-altitude farms and terraced hillsides in a growing region most people outside China have never tasted.

We work directly with growers across Yunnan's coffee regions and roast in New York. Most roasters carry Yunnan as one option among dozens. This is our whole business, and that focus is what makes us good at it.
